Privacy policy

This covers julenestewart.com — what the website collects, what it deliberately refuses to collect, and who sees it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version. If you fill in the contact form I get your name, contact details and your question — nothing more. This site sets no cookies and does not advertise to you. I don’t sell your information to anybody, ever. And the form deliberately refuses Social Security numbers and account numbers, because a website form is the wrong place for them.

Who this covers

This is my own site as a mortgage loan originator. I originate loans through MS Lending, LLC, NMLS #1833776. Once you begin an actual loan application, MS Lending’s own privacy practices and the federal notice described below govern your loan file. This policy covers the website in front of that.

What the contact form collects

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you give me one — it’s optional
  • What you’d like help with, and how you heard about me
  • Your question, in your own words
  • Your agreement to be contacted — the exact wording you agreed to, and when

The website also records some technical details automatically with your enquiry: the page you sent it from, the site that referred you if there was one, your IP address, the country it resolves to, your browser type, and the time. That information exists so I can tell a real enquiry from an automated one, and so there is a record of your consent.

What this form will not take

The contact form does not accept Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, or income documents, and the page says so above the form. This is deliberate. A website contact form is not a secure channel for that kind of information. When the time comes, you’ll provide those through the secure application instead.

If you send that information anyway — in the message box, for example — please don’t. Call me instead.

What I do with it

I use what you send to answer your question, to talk with you about financing, and to keep track of our conversation so you don’t have to repeat yourself. Your enquiry is emailed to me and saved in the loan workspace MS Lending uses to manage client relationships.

I do not use it to build advertising profiles, and I do not send marketing to people who only asked a question.

Your consent to be contacted, and how to take it back

The contact form asks you to tick a box agreeing that I may contact you by phone, text or email about your enquiry. That consent is not a condition of getting a loan, and you can withdraw it at any time.

To withdraw it, tell me — reply to any message, call, or email [email protected] and say you’d rather not be contacted. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period.

Who else sees it

I don’t sell your information, rent it, or trade it. It is shared only with the people and services needed to answer you:

  • MS Lending, LLC — the licensed mortgage company I originate through.
  • Service providers who run the plumbing, and only for that purpose: Cloudflare hosts the website, and Resend delivers the notification email. They handle the message in transit; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Lenders and investors, but only if you go on to make an actual loan application — and that happens inside the application process, not from this website.
  • Where the law requires it — a subpoena, a court order, a regulator with authority to ask.

Cookies, tracking and third parties

This site sets no cookies. There is no advertising pixel, no Meta or Google advertising tag, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

Two things do reach outside servers when a page loads, and you should know about both:

  • Google Fonts. The typefaces load from Google’s servers, which means your browser tells Google your IP address in order to fetch them. No other information is sent.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, counts page views so I can see which pages are read. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint you, and it does not track you across other websites. I see totals, not people.

The reviews shown on the home page are fetched from Google by the website’s own server, not by your browser, so reading them does not report you to Google.

The loan application is a separate service

The “Apply Now” button takes you to a third-party application portal at julenestewart.my1003app.com. That is a different company’s system with its own terms and its own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover it. Read theirs before you enter anything sensitive.

You never have to use it. Call me and we can complete your application together.

Your privacy once you become a client

Mortgage brokers are “financial institutions” under a federal law called the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. If you go on to apply, you will be given a separate privacy notice describing what is collected in the loan process, who it is shared with, and what choices you have. That notice governs your loan file. It is a different document from this one, and this page is not a substitute for it.

How long it is kept

Website enquiries are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Two years because people genuinely do come back — someone who asks a question this spring often buys the following one, and it is better for you if I still have the context than if you have to start over.

If you go on to become a client, that is a different matter: your loan records are kept for the period mortgage regulations require, which is longer. Ask me to delete your enquiry sooner and I will, unless a law requires me to keep it.

How it is protected

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Your enquiry is transmitted encrypted, and the loan workspace it lands in is access-controlled and encrypted, with a record of who opened what. No system is perfect, and nobody honest will tell you otherwise — which is exactly why this form refuses to take the information that would matter most if it were ever exposed.

Children

This site is meant for adults seeking mortgage financing. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent something through this site, tell me and I’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date below. Material changes to how information is used will be described rather than quietly edited in.
